Gender can sure change the trends in shopping. Women like comparing prices, the sale is important to them, bargaining (of course!). Men, on the other hand, want the process to be as fast as possible. They do not care whether the thing is on sale and consider it success leaving the store with what they came looking for.
According to a 2007 survey by the AMP Agency, “A woman’s approach to shopping is very much part of who she is; it is part of her DNA.” An article in Forbes suggests that for most men, shopping for clothes is like “doing your brain surgery.”
