Lighting candle with smoke


You’d be extremely flabbergasted to know that this IS possible. Light a candle and then blow it. Now you have to be real quick. The smoke from the just-blowed candle has a little of unburned wax particles in it. If you are quick enough to bring a lighter near this smoke, the wisp will carry the flame back to the wick.

  1. A YouTube video shows how the smoke burning from an extinguished flame can be used to relight a candle. However, as soon as it is blown out, the trail of smoke that forms from the wick still contains wax that hasn’t yet burned.
